So, we've come to a conclusion about the share links. You can read all about it here.

Basically, we've allowed for 3 sharing options:

Even though I still have some gripe about "discouraging" linking, it is a very emotional problem for some users (as I have come to find out). So, please enjoy the new features and thanks for all the feedback through this educational process. Just know, that there is nothing deviantART can do to stop linking or sharing. It is the internet and if you don't want stuff shared, don't upload it. But until there is an internet that doesn't allow for sharing, we will give you all the options that "discourage" it. :)

From his wiggly blue avatar to his ability to seemingly be everywhere on deviantART all at once, it is our pleasure to present `eStunt with the Deviousness Award for September.
`eStunt has shown an all encompassing love for this community, whether it is by his commentary, his community themed art or his sense of humor while chatting on #dAmn, there is one thing that nobody can deny. His enthusiasm for all things DA is boundless and extremely contagious.

aboutMY life: My name is Matthew (aka. eStunt, Matt, Matty, Blue Blob, ...Blue Sperm..., etc). I live in Massachusetts, but I am currently a junior at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, NY. I will be majoring in Information Technology with concentrations in Web Development and Human Computer Interaction. From there, I plan to attend graduate school for either Business Administration or Human Computer Interaction. I thoroughly enjoy watching movies, desktop publishing, java & web programming, video games, music, threatre, as well as ice skating and rollerblading. Most of all, I enjoy deviantART and I love interacting with all aspects of this awesome community.

aboutMY dA: I love art, but perhaps the thing that keeps me so interested in dA is it's community. It's not just a bunch of users, rather a living, breathing, evolving nation of devious people. I joined dA in November 2003; since that day this site has been my homepage and part of my everyday life. I originally joined to support my friend =chris16, but soon after, I found myself making even more friends, getting addicted to IRC, the forums, and the galleries. Even later, dAmn came along and I have made countless friends because of this social art network. In addition, because of dA, I learned new mediums of art. When I joined, I used to submit near-awful photography, and over the years, I've learned several photographic techniques, pixel art, vectors, designs & interfaces, as well as web design. dA has impacted my life in infinite ways, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

aboutMY work: As a staff member, I am on both the Creative and Devious Technology teams. The Creative Staff is responsible for various visual elements found around the site. You can see them in news posts, deviantWEAR merchandise, CSS mockups, logos, ads, and other neat stuff. I enjoy working and learning from fellow Creative staff members and hope that the community likes what we do. In addition to Creative Staff, I help oversee the Emoticon Legend and assist with random IT projects for the site. I generally focus on the User Interface Design for dA--to help make the user experience better for each version of dA. It's a good time!

Yoooo, $eStunt. With the odd forum "touch-ups" that have happened recently, are there any plans to make deviation thumbnails preview when previewing posts in the thumbshare forums?
I think I asked you once before in that thread in the suggestion forum, but I never got any response. :shrug:

When you made that Pin in the Suggestion area " [link] " said how the suggestion area there is for only improving the forums and nothing else. Why does people people put suggestions in there for the whole site and not just for the forums? Does this fully mean that what you said here [link] Was only a suggestion and we really are free to make site suggestions? I'm kinda confused. ^^;
