On the surface I like the idea, it would stop people from taking images that aren't theirs. HOWEVER, it limits the functionality of the deviation. The share links are at the side of the page, and the url is at the top of your browser, all very easy to access.

Personally, I right click on an image for two reasons, only two reasons. 1. I'm searching for a new desktop background (in the desktop background gallery) and I right click to get this particular image to sit on my desktop. 2. I need stock, I find the images I want to use, from the stock resources gallery, and right click to copy them for use in photoshop. Removing this functionality, for me, would severely limit my ability to be creative (I'm not going to pay for stock and I'm not just going to steal art from other sites/people that haven't provided it properly).

I think, better than just forcing this feature on everyone in every gallery, it should be something that's optional, not mandatory, something that's in the submission process that isn't automatically checked yes, and something that you get warned about if you do check yes and your image is being submitted to galleries designed for art that is generally downloaded, copied, and saved somehow. It's more complicated, but it offers a better functionality. I know there are some pieces I have submitted that I don't want people using without my permission (that's why I disable download), but being forced to have this on EVERY image would upset me and make me less of an advocate of submitting art on dA.
